So, I have been meeting a ton of people in the last few days. I was a little depressed when I got here because I didn't know anyone and it was a new place and I was tired. Now, I know quite a few people, I've overcome the jetlag and I've explored the city and campus a little as well. I am sort of looking forward to starting up my program because it will provide a little more structure than I have at the moment. I've met alot of people from England, but also quite a few from other countries as well.
The pub crawl was fun last night. We went to 6 different bars in York and it was a good time to see some of the city and what types of bars there are around here. This was where I met alot of people.
Tomorrow I'm going to be working on getting a mobile phone and setting up a bank account.
